Peppermint Chocolate Holiday Drinks


It’s not only about the food - what you drink this holiday season also matters! Cut the syrups and sugars - make your own drinks for a healthy energy boost.

To make choco-mint bevy variations, we like to keep a few ingredients on hand: organic canned, full fat coconut milk, raw cacao powder, and fresh peppermint or peppermint extract. We’ve shared three of our favorite mixtures below.

Breakfast smoothie:

Set the tone for the day with a creamy, ice-free smoothie!

Core ingredients: 1/2 cup of filtered water, 1/2 cup organic, canned coconut milk, 2 sprigs mint, 1 tbsp raw cacao powder  

Add: 1/2 avocado, clean, unflavored protein powder, sweetener of choice (such as stevia or 1/2 serving of fruit)

Blend and enjoy.

Mid-morning mocha mint:

Are you a fancy coffee drink kind of guy or gal? Make it a healthier one!

Core ingredients: 1/2 cup of filtered water, 1/2 cup organic, canned coconut milk, 1/2 tsp mint extract, 2 tsp raw cacao powder

Optional adds: 1/4 cup coffee, sweetener of choice (such as stevia)

Blend and enjoy heated or over ice.

Evening holiday beverage:

Replace the cocktail with this mocktail!

Core ingredients: 1/2 cup of filtered water, 1/2 cup organic, canned coconut milk, 1/2 tsp mint extract, 2 tsp raw cacao powder

Optional adds: Sweetener of choice (such as stevia), a dollop of organic whipped cream, dark chocolate shavings as garnish.

Blend, add garnishes, and enjoy.
